The Digital Production Archive for the Department of Theatre and Film at UBC is a collection of primarily photographic materials related to the theatre productions of the department.

With materials dating back to the UBC Players’ Club in the 1940s and continuing into productions at the Dorothy Somerset Studio and Frederic Wood Theatre, the digital collection contains almost 26,000 items. These items include photographs, slides, negatives, posters, prints, press material, and other items related to our long history of theatre production—and even more represented in the physical collection.

The digital collection is still in progress for processing and inclusion and will be expanding to include the film library resources currently housed in the Visual Resources Centre at UBC.
